Hoya Wayetii ‘Tricolor’
Hoya Wayetii ‘Tricolor’
Variegated Wax Plant
A little Hoya with very pretty plans.
Hoya wayetii ‘Tricolor’ is a variegated wax plant with narrow, slightly succulent leaves that develop a mix of green, creamy white, and pink tones. New growth can be especially colorful, giving the plant a soft, collected-over-time look as its vines begin to lengthen.
This rooted starter is still compact, making it easy to tuck onto a plant shelf or bright windowsill now. As it grows, it can trail naturally from a shelf or hanging planter, or be trained onto a small trellis for a more structured look.
It is a lovely choice for someone who appreciates variegation, enjoys watching a plant grow into its personality, and may already be mentally rearranging a shelf to make room for just one more Hoya.
You will receive the exact plant pictured in its nursery pot.
Care
Light: Bright indirect light is ideal. Plenty of gentle light will help support healthy growth and encourage the colorful variegation to remain visible.
Water: Allow the soil to dry most of the way between waterings. Hoyas appreciate a thorough watering, but they do not enjoy sitting in consistently wet soil.
Soil: Use an airy, well-draining potting mix.
Growth Habit: Trailing or climbing with narrow, waxy, variegated foliage.
Pot: Approximately 4-inch nursery pot.
A Small Note
Each plant is a living, growing thing, so minor natural changes may occur between photography and pickup or shipping. The plant shown is the exact plant you will receive.
